At RXP Studio, we believe that art is a universal language that bridges cultures and brings people together. We aim to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone can appreciate and enjoy art.
In the labyrinth of human creativity, art and science often emerge as two divergent paths. However, when these paths intersect, they unveil a realm where imagination meets innovation. This convergence is not just about the aesthetic enhancement of science or the logical structuring of art; it's a symbiotic fusion that propels both fields into new dimensions of exploration and understanding. RXP Studio is focused on The Fusion of Art and Science: Exploring New Horizons.
Biology on canvas is a series of acrylic paintings that have been created by Dr. Xiping H. Rouben, an abstract and iconography artist whose soulful connection to the beauty of biology sciences has inspired a stunning collection of art.
Welcome to the incredible story of
Dr. Xiping H. Rouben
With years of dedication in pharmaceutical research, I was constantly struck by the breathtaking images of cells and tissues that come alive under the microscope, full of vivid colors and intricate shapes. Driven by passion for those beautiful images, I have held on to a lifelong dream of transforming them into art.
I draw inspiration from renowned artists like Jackson Pollock, Wassily Kandinsky, Robert Motherwell as well as my art mentor, Mr. JenZ Shifu, a Canadian artist who has created a distinctive non- representational art form called “Iconcography” where Chinese calligraphy art, modern western painting and collages are blended together.
I have also been privileged to learn from Ms. Suzanne Metz, a well established abstract artist in Canada.
